About

My name is Madeline Soleski and I am passionate about delivering best-in-class digital marketing and customer experiences for companies through creative, data-driven strategic planning & implementation.

WHERE I’M FROM

I earned my undergraduate degree in Interactive Web Management from UW Oshkosh, and my graduate degree in Digital Content Strategy (MS) from the University of Kansas. I have experience working in digital marketing roles for companies in private, public, and non-profit sectors, as well as agency experience.

WHAT I’M UP TO

I’m a content strategist, currently working in a B2B corporate environment for an industrial, world-wide specialty chemical distributor. I’m part of a lean, high-performing team managing nine websites including a 6,000+ ecommerce catalog.

WHERE I’M GOING

I have a relentless passion for continued learning and drive to seek out challenges that best utilize my unique skillset. My long-term career goals are focused around leading a high-performing digital marketing team that delivers award-winning, industry-leading digital experiences.

OUTSIDE OF THE OFFICE

One of my professional passions is helping others, specifically small non-profit organizations that lack funding for a dedicated digital marketing team. Some of my recent projects include Heart to Heart International, Wisconsin Student Nursing Association, and Peace At Last Ministries (PALM).

On my days off, I love exploring local festivals, catching up on podcasts and adventuring in nature (even when those Wisconsin single digit temps hit – see 52 Hike Challenge). If I’m not outside, watching documentaries and trying out new coffee shops is definitely my thing.

Wondering where I get my photos?

I’m a huge advocate for being responsible about using images online. The amount of times I’ve seen marketers illegally using copyrighted photos and getting away with it is frustrating to say the least. If  you see a photo on my website without attribution that I didn’t take myself, then it was from one of two sources:

“All photos published on Unsplash are licensed under Creative Commons Zero which means you can copy, modify, distribute and use the photos for free, including commercial purposes, without asking permission from or providing attribution to the photographer or Unsplash.”
